Games For The Breakdown
A downloadable zine
Games For The Breakdown is a collection of ten short, 1 page RPGs, many of which can't or shouldn't be played. Or rather, Games For The Breakdown is a collection of poems that are also games, that challenge both what it means to be poetry and what it means to be games. The collection is aptly named—these are games intended for when collapse occurs.
Games For The Breakdown is the second zine in the Games For The Missing & The Found series. These zines have become an important touchstone and marker for the emerging Lyric Game genre on Itch.
Content Warnings: These are all games about mental illness and health in their own ways. While many of them contain allegorical or metaphorical references to mental illness, only "stare cw self harm" features literal instructions involving self harm, and the warning is contained within the title.

Impressive and disturbing. Some parts of it don’t connect with, but some hit right in my fucked up soul. My favorite part might be “A List of Games I’m Too Nervous To Write.”
